This is a drawing of my wife's character. Belnimbra, a half-elvin bard/duelist. Prismacolor and ink retouched after scaning. A Victoria's Secret model if I remember correctly.

Updated, July of 2004. not much of an update, just added to the background to give some depth. h

Very nicely done. the flowing shirt over the "battle bikini" doesn't offer any more protection, but it does give the character an interesting silhouette2 Very nice!

What ever you do, do not, I repeat, do not remove this image...it's splendid!Worry not my man, the day I remove Bel from Elfwood is the day I leave Elfwood. The question is should I upload the one with the white background as well? How about a detail of her? Do I go to dinner now or later...wait I think I'm getting a little distracted....

Hey, great picture! I love her face and clothing. That blade looks like it could do some hefty damage. I like how it's black. I also like the white/black clothing contrast. Basically, great picture. ^_^Thanks, and good luck with your gallery!

This is a nice character sketch, but that's about it. There's no background and the picture isn't at all dynamic. While there is plenty of light, there is no definate light source. I would love to see this character in action. Elfwood is filled with character sketches. Therefore actual compositions attract a lot of attention.

:-) Andrew P. Morris replies: "Thanks for commenting. You are right this is a character portrait not a scene. I wish I had time to do enough studies to produce a character in different scenes; both action and more casual poses. "

What?? A character played by your wife(my sweet, mild mannered pious and maidenly sister)a political manipulator? Say it tisn't so! BUWHAHAHAHA!:::evil laugh:::::

:-) Andrew P. Morris replies: "OH and did I mention seductress??? *Snark* Your "mild manered" sister indeed... (goes off to get the scratch marks treated...) "

Two swords? Party!
(And I sometimes wish I had enough cash to hire a model and/or had a hot significant other to base my works on. Penthouse and hentai doesn't always do the job, unfortunately 2

:-) Andrew P. Morris replies: "Thanks for the comments. The sword is a rapier and the dagger is called a mian gauche (Used in duels to parry and thrust in close quarters). I find stuff in fasion & fitness magazines, catalogs, and art photos on the internet. I then work the drawing freehand from the reference. "

Apart from too big eyes (they tend to look flat when they become too big) and no pants, I love the picture.

The folds in the clothes that she does have looks good, with shades in the right places and even the boots look right with a different shine in the highlights and shadows.

Body is well proportioned and her stance is great.
As in, legs are equally long and so on and so forth - y'know what I mean.

Can't wait to see more.

:-) Andrew P. Morris replies: "Thanks for commenting. The pose, outfit and lack of pants are all player requests. "

very nice. She could use flashes of that body to distract an opponent in a duel.

:-) Andrew P. Morris replies: "Thanks for commenting! Yes she regularly does distract opponents!"

She's beautiful, and the color is so cool

:-) Andrew P. Morris replies: "Thank-you for the comments. I am glad you enjoy my work. "

Nice. I like the weapons. I would hate to go into battle with her even with my 19clr/17ftr/10brd/1brb

22 Andrew P. Morris replies: "You have a 19clr/17ftr/10brd/1brb???? See that would be the problem the one level of barbarian will cause those wild outbursts that a skilled sword master can exploit. Thanks for commenting. "
