I love the picture...i like all your pictures, though on some of the women i hope they have a magical armor class or they're going to lose those beautiful breasts...hehe...sorry, i feel like such a nerd. good works though! *shudders her hatred of the night below and her DM*

:-) Andrew P. Morris replies: "I feel for anyone with a sadistic DM in that adventure. We had a crazy time running it tho! Swords High!"

Not often you see a dwarf that doesn't look like a) a stretched out munchin, or b) a squashed tomato. Good job! ^_^ He looks cool.

:-) Andrew P. Morris replies: "Thanks for the comment! I do try to bring a sense of proportion to my non-human races that is both consistant and believable. Thanks for noticing that effort."

Is this like a combination of hand colored and computer touch-ups?--Very nice BTWYup. That is the method I use. ;-)

I like his expression.

:-) Andrew P. Morris replies: "Thank-you for commenting. I put effort into giving my character portraits some expression. His worked better than usual (particularly after my crappy scanner gets done with my drawings). "

Armor is really nice. Only flaw I found is that the place the light is (heijastua, dictionary.com, BRB, ah) reflecting looks like one piece. Maybe some more detail will get over that, or maybe it's only me... But, oh, how I wish I would meet that dwarf. BTW, I would say that in RPG's every male fighter is more or less drunken in almost every battle... or maybe it's only our group...

But well, as I said, Borofin looks very live. And with that description... If he had a background-story... Oh well... I always write too many points. But wonderful pic, and The hammer is beatufil. Although I still wouldn't like to get slammed in the head with that. ;P

:-) Andrew P. Morris replies: "Jeez... to long on my response... (June of 2004) thanks for commenting. Hmmm. I will stop being lazy with my descriptions... He rarely drinks to excess, and has a fairly good backstory... "

Ha, I really love his "Who's next?" pose and expression. Nice picture

:-) Andrew P. Morris replies: "Thanks! He does have that look. I am thinking of updating all the pics in my gallery after a rework of the person and the backgrounds... "

OooOOoOHHH I love this!!!!!!

First of all i would like to say that your work is very well done and that i admire your skills as an artist. I do however have one beef with this pic, for a dwarf i find he is not bulky enough. Know what i mean? Besides that its a great pic, keep up the excellent work. (dwarves are short and stalky, not tall and yanky) (just added that for fun!)

:-) Andrew P. Morris replies: "First thanks for commenting, I like all comments even those that I don't agree with. 12 I don't like the wide 'Warhammer' style of dwarf. So mine follows more the traditional style shown in Angus McBride's work on Tolkien's stories and such. "
