A portrait of Arlette on the deck of her corvette the Rapier. This is off the coast of the Pinare Islands where many battles are taking place between the various navel powers over the newly discovered ruins. Updated November, 2004. I improved the flair of her hips and deepened the shadows on her torso to reinforce the feeling that she is leaning forward.

Oh, my god! There's only one word to describe this: Amazing! She does look a bit on the starved side, but hey, she's a pirate;maybe she dosent get 'real' meals very often! All in all, I can believe this didn't get mod's

:-) Andrew P. Morris replies: "Thank-you for such kind comments! I am happy you like the quality of this piece so much. I did several revisions before putting it up and will do several more based on feedback I get. So I will put a new version from time to time. Heh, and as to Arlette's eating habits here is Arlette's Pirate Diet Plan: lots of protein in the form of fish and salted meat; add to this is a minimum of carbs, the main source of which is the tropical fruits they gather up and sometimes a little bread or potatoes taken from merchanteers. Coffee and Cocoa are the stimulants of choice and don't forget the spirits: brandy, rum and tequila. Should I write a diet book??? ;-P Also don't forget the daily exercise program: swimming, sailing, dueling, pirating and dancing are all very physically taxing activities. Cheers, Andrew"

Lovely portrait... I too have dark hair and greenish eyes! Won't say what else we have in common.

:-) Andrew P. Morris replies: "Well thank-you for commenting... Arlette? I am glad that you find this portait lovely, it was so intended. Journey safe... ~Andrew"
