 | | | | | Date | Name | Comment | | | 8 Oct 2004 | Andrea Lanzoni | *first comment dance* Ariette is better with colors... Andrew P. Morris replies: "Thank-you Andrea! I worked on the jaw line as well as added a lot of detail and depth to the drawing. Cheers, Andrew" | |
| 2 Dec 2004 | Laura Rhoades-Stovall(Redelf) | beautiful. I have to say drawing a rear is really hard. Andrew P. Morris replies: "Thank-you, Laura, for your comments on Arlette’s rear ;-) . To get the shading right requires understanding the anatomy of the bones and muscle masses. How the hip moves is also an important point here. ~A" | |
| 16 Apr 2005 | Lipták László | Nice painting ;-) Andrew P. Morris replies: "Lipták, Thank-you my friend, I’m glad you like it. " | |
| 9 Jun 2005 | Michael John Morris | I love her backside. Yes, I'm really quite a fan of that detail. The skin and hair are quite well done and the gilded pistol is a nice touch, but the bum is the thing for me! Yay for us Morris's Andrew P. Morris replies: "Yeesss! Morris dudes rock. Hey everyone, Michael’s online comic is great. Give it a look. Pinky TA rules!" | |
| 7 Aug 2005 | Margot Bongers | The shading is very very precise and correct! What is that on her back? Scars? Anyway, great shading, her eyes stand a bit cross, but her eye colour and hair is gorgeous Andrew P. Morris replies: "Margot, Thanks for your kind comments on Arlette's Pain. The work was done with photo-reference and I tried to stay true to the reference when I shaded. Those are indeed whip scars on her back. I see what you mean about the eyes being crossed, however they are not in the original image file only when converted with my cheap software to .jpeg format. I will see what I can do to fix it. Take care, Andrew" | |
| 26 Oct 2005 | Alexey Lutsenko | May I give the title for this pic? "The Best Elfwood Butt". Andrew P. Morris replies: "Heh heh heh! Sure, that fits Arlette's butt well! " | |
| 11 Jun 2006 | Anonymous | Are those scars on her back? Perhaps from a whip? Yeah, I think I am going blonde here. No offence to those who are blondes! Sorry. I'm only curious. That's all. Andrew P. Morris replies: "First off - Thank-you for taking the time to post a comment. Yes indeed those scars are from a whip. Discipline upon the first ship she served on was harsh and the commander was a coward. At one point she took a berth on the Windspear, a cutter in the Royal Navy. She proved to be extremely competent and soon had the position of First Lieutenant. Great wars were shaking the world and her king sent a convoy of ships to escort escaping refugees from a nearby allied kingdom - the Windspear was among them. Three imperial great-galleons plus more than a dozen escort ships intercepted the flotilla and its escorts. The captain of the Windspear, Mathieu Rennole decided that in the interest of his ship they would break off course to “draw off the enemy”. Arlette and several others watched as at least two of the refugee ships and another of the escorts were sunk. Arlette and the others conspired to commandeered the Windspear and changed course to join with the other ships in the engagement. Salvos of cannon fire were exchanged and eventually they were boarded. The shipboard fighting was fierce and many good sailors died that day, yet all fought with notable courage and skill and according to some the maneuver saved the day for the entire convoy with their return to the fray. After the last of the Imperial Marines was killed and sent over the side, Captain Rennole had Arlette and the others clapped in chains, Arlette was hung from the main mast by her wrists and flogged, 40 lashes, for insubordination. Thanks again... ~Andrew" | |
| 24 Mar 2008 | David "Shottist" Auer | I like in colour even better. Especially the gun. (Not a big fan of guns personally, but this one is fancy and fantasy so I am awed by the gleam.) What a lousy captain she had. I hope she got his head later. She is gorgeous. I like her makeup bunches. | |
| 8 Jun 2008 | Anon. | oh! i absolutely love her! the scars make her look even better, and she looks like she can whip some ass | |
