SciFi and Fantasy Art: Glory of Morning

Here is one for all those who think my women are 'too damn skinny'. A priestess of Lathander in the Forgotten Realms. Pen,ink, prismacolor, and PC.

Okay, re-worked the figure, her eyes and added a background. Thanks again to all those who have commented.

(so I switched my name and my general internet name's places! Sue me 2

Very nice picture! Definitely one of the better ones I've seen around this place! But you're entirely sure she doesn't follow Sune? The dress just seems so... I don't know, beauty-enhancing? Anyway, I cannae complain about anything, 'cause I'm probably one of the worst painters/drawers/etc. in the world 2

:-) Andrew P. Morris replies: "Sune would be jealous of her ah... ENDOWMENTS... 12 Thanks for your comments, I am very glad that you like how I did this. Cheers ~A"

I like the stomach: very fleshy, it really looks like it's got cellulite, fat and muscles under the skin. Just like a real woman! The clothes are brilliant, I guess they're the visual equivalent of "tangy", very nice. The breasts aren't too big, they're just... big. And the pose is pretty good too.
All in all, an excellent picture!

:-) Andrew P. Morris replies: "James, Thank-you for commenting on my artwork, I am glad you like it. I tried hard to pull off a different sort of body type with this pic, and apparently it worked! I was searching for a way to describe Lathanderite robes to someone new to the Forgotten Realms: "Tangy"¯ works better than anything! Cheers, Andrew"

Errr, she is too damn skinny, she's got those powerful legs, huge bosom and yet her midsection is lacking. Need to take the time to study a -real- stocky woman. by the by, The colors are beautiful. (Love the addition of the little orby thing.)

:-) Andrew P. Morris replies: "Thanks for commenting. I am glad that the clothing worked well in this pic... As far as her waist goes I really think you should take another look. I have finally updated the pic correcting the waist. If you do check it out, let me know what you think! Cheers, Andrew"

Her eyes look rather big, but it's a good pic. ^^ Excellent colouration. You've got a good grip on realistic skin.

:-) Andrew P. Morris replies: "Eric, Thanks for your kind comments on my artwork. I have corrected this picture (increased the size of her waist and decreased the size of her eyes. I hope I have improved this somewhat. Thanks again, Andrew"

Never have I thought of Lathander's priest in such light!

:-) Andrew P. Morris replies: "BWA HA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Hooo... that was a good one... ~A"

She's beautiful! I like her voluptous body! The colors are awesome, she gleams like sunlight!

:-) Andrew P. Morris replies: "Thank-you, Aryana, for your kind comments. I am glad you like the way I handled this rendering of Medryth. The Sunlight effect is on purpose as the god Lathander is know as the Morning Lord and is the god of the dawn and of new beginnings on the Forgotten Realms. Cheers, Andrew"

V. Nice, but the breasts are too big for her bone structure and her general frame- she looks like she's had a job done on them. Women with her frame don't have breasts that big...
Otherwise, v. Nice.

:-) Andrew P. Morris replies: "Thanks for commenting. As far as it goes this one was supposed to be over the top. Heh. "
